Working Out, To Boot!

So I set my alarm and got up early this morning. I dressed for the gym, let out the dog, grabbed breakfast and my headphones, and drove 15 minutes in a cold car to get my work out done for the day. I’m feeling pretty proud of myself!
As I’m getting out of the car to go inside, my feet feel really heavy. I look down, and instead of having my sneakers on, I still have my boots on from walking the dog! Grrrr……Oh fun!
I thought about going home and getting my sneakers, but I knew I wouldn’t come back… So I decided to work out in my socks. Even without sneakers, I figured I could use the elliptical machine or the recumbent bike.
While I felt a little stupid, I’m not sure anyone noticed. And I still got my 60 minutes of cardio in.
Glad I didn’t let my boots boot me out of a good work out! ![]()
